In August, Dylan started kindergarten. To get him to school on time, everyone had to be up by six in the morning — which is very early, especially in summer. Papa had to set an alarm he hadn’t needed before. Dylan got dressed and had breakfast and went. That was how it started: alarm, breakfast, out the door, every day.
