Can’t sleep, probably because I was working on electronics stuff — but I got the LED sign programmer to work. Not that clean — still can’t put in arbitrary phrases — but at least it’s able to turn the device on and do the programming. Pretty damned cool.
Maybe tomorrow I’ll play with servos, though I’m not really sure what to do with them.
I’m slowly ramping up my knowledge of electronics and my skill at soldering; I’m still better at tearing things apart than I am at putting new things together; I guess that’s to be expected.
Got a simple accelerometer tilty light working; haven’t played with the motor controller yet.
So I’ve got a robot base and servos, a sonar distance sensor, plenty of blinking LEDs, and a bunch of torn-apart keyboards. What do I turn them all into???
