Cybertel office, 11:08am.

Something interesting happens every day. Today — last night — the interesting thing that happened is she asked me to put Capzasin ointment on her shoulders. Made from capsicum, hot peppers, but supposedly good for arthritis and other pains.

IT BURNS.

Feels like a bad sunburn, although I suppose without the associated peeling and skin damage one would hope. She had it all over her shoulders, and I have it on my right hand. It seems to be going away — I looked it up on the Internet last night and found nearly no information on the product, except that it’s the same stuff used for pepper spray to ward off bears. If you eat too much hot pepper, yogurt will help, though I don’t know how that works applied topically.

Meanwhile I’ve got about 470 pages of Cybertel invoices to print, at a few pages per minute.

Capzasin is a topical analgesic made from capsaicin. “IT BURNS” is the most direct product review in the journal.
