April 14, 1948 – August 8, 2005. Elise's younger brother, Fred's maternal uncle; son of Jim and Sarah.
He was born in Philadelphia, the second child after his sister Elise, and grew up in the family’s California years. He married Denise Alwyn Davies in Santa Clara in 1976 and settled in Aptos, near Santa Cruz; a son, Brian, arrived that December, and a daughter he named Elise Alwyn — after his sister, with his wife’s middle name — followed. The family kept circling its own names.
He died at fifty-seven in Waynesboro, Virginia, far from Aptos. An obituary ran in the Salinas Californian that August.
