I haven’t been updating my blog, for several reasons. The login seems to be failing to keep session state — so it forgets that you’re logged in. I think this is a program-specific problem because sessions seem to work fine on the server. I’ll probably reimplement editing with ROR, then see if I can do the same with the other interactive parts of the site, just for giggles.
Then there’s the fact that I’m giving this website out to potential employers, so I start to worry about what I’m posting. Peripherally, I’ve gotten kind of annoyed with the “obtainium” name, mainly because people always spell it wrong — “obtanium.”
Free local wifi service should be standard. City of Encinitas should be providing it for free.
