Had a problem with the buffer today. I could sort of talk to it but it refused to complete an FTP and was hinkey about telnetting, and after a while the serial port started to screw up, too. I guess I should always bring a network card, if only for testing the buffer directly.
It’s going to be somewhat hard to entertain myself in this crummy burg for three more days. I know for certain I’ll be going somewhere else for the weekend.
I’m nearly done with the install now, except for the damned buffer not working.
