Road trip north. Fred's day in San Francisco — Fisherman’s Wharf in the morning, dinner with family at night. (The greeter training itself is its own story.)

Left Rebecca’s early in the morning and headed over to Fisherman’s Wharf, for the Alcatraz tour, but it was sold out for the next week. So I cruised down the waterfront and stopped for breakfast at Red’s Java House — a sausage sandwich that wasn’t bad.

Had a good clam-and-mussel linguine dinner with Uncle Alan, Aunt Carol, and cousin Stephanie; talked about my trip so far, politics and Burning Man (Steph is also going). And breakfast of “Uncle Alan’s Waffles” (another deviation from low-carb, though I did weigh myself this morning and I’m doing fine).
