Sky Harbor Airport, Phoenix.
Once you accept the whole “airports suck” thing, it’s a lot easier to deal with missed flights, delays, etc. And being a capitalist on the socialist airline (rewards go to those who get in line first! Would that be communist, then?).
There was a guy at the last gate whose flight had been shifted, and the people who ran for the next plane got on and he wasn’t going to, and he thought that was disrespectful of the full-fare customers, he had a meeting to get to, he shipped all sorts of stuff, there were other airlines, etc. I nearly told him to shut up but I couldn’t bring myself to.
I’m getting a lot better at telling stories, I think.
The battery in this laptop isn’t lasting as long as it should, again. I even considered giving it to Felicia and getting a new one — faster, bigger hard drive, maybe even a G4 Powerbook — but I don’t want to spend the money even though I appear to have it at the moment.
