~1990. Letter from Thomas (TK), undated. He’s in law school somewhere — “The Advocate is gone to print,” a campus publication he’s working on.
"Dear Fred,
I just spent a week suffering through: DOS, Compaq [(286)], HP [(LaserJet III)], Aldus [(PageMaker)], Windows [(3.0)]. (I saw lots of sunrises) (on my way home) The Advocate is gone to print :) so I have time (a little) again.
May be we can drive out after Xmas — Pick you up in Centro or something.
To answer your Q’s — School: It sucks (why ask) but I do have one bright point — Got Contracts for 3hrs Friday night — Chicks: They are running around this place in herds, but I have yet to bring down any stragglers (don’t send this letter to any women’s orgs.) — I did meet a blind girl, but she didn’t like my personality and ‘charm’."
He wrote his phone numbers at the bottom, labeled A and C — home and car — and circled them. He had all kinds of marginal notes running vertically along the right edge and upside down across the top.
