One of the things I’ve been thinking about: when I dump this dumb job or it dumps me, taking a month or more and doing some Mexico wandering. Wanted to know some of your suggestions for don’t-miss or avoid.
May take the Rover. Or if I think I’ll be there long, I might buy a VW camper van; the Pinzgauer is way too military, I think, aside from being reliable maybe probably and serviceable/understandable by mechanics there — not at all (though it is basically just an inline version of a VW engine).
Contemplating down through Baja and then across from La Paz on the ferry — which I think there is — then along the coast; maybe at some point out toward Yucatan and maybe Belize.
Probably a pipe dream and I’ll most likely be a lazy bastard and stay here working for this shithole, but it’s good to dream. Otherwise the lottery would go broke as it ought to.
