Famous Dave’s, Vista.

I was out doing errands and I started to get light-headed, so I decided to stop for a late lunch. With a side of beer.

Returned most of the crap I got the other day at Fry’s — decided to go minimal, instead of bothering with GPS, keyboard, mouse, etc — for now. Should have probably kept the cheap memory stick, to use for backups, but I was feeling hedgy.

Feeling a lot better than I was yesterday, though I’m still sort of shiftless and unmotivated — but at least I cleaned off my work desk then recluttered it with electronic gear.

That was a tasty brisket sandwich, liked the BBQ sauce and the pickles — the bread was worth missing, and I avoided half of it — not that a beer lunch saves any calories/carbs. Sure, I’d come back here.

Mainly I guess I’m feeling at loose ends. I go to work, I come home, spend the weekend doing not much, go back to work. Try to keep Becke happy, try to keep the fish alive, try to keep my parents from getting annoyed with me, try to keep the bills paid. Same old, same old. Now and then I get some screwy electronic device to entertain me for a while; regularly eat stuff that’s bad for me just because.

Now I’ve got a “sea hare” to mow all the green algae, but I have to watch to be sure it doesn’t die, because it’ll turn the water toxic.

“Oh my gosh I’m so selling my Mac for that.”
