Making Things Talk

It turns out the “Making Things Talk” book is a little disappointing. Seems like a good book but it’s about a lot of stuff that I don’t really care about, that requires additional parts. Good to know how to hook up bluetooth and wireless and so forth — but I’d really like to know how to flip switches on an arbitrary device, like the scroller. No matter; at some point I may figure it out.

Having a hard time concentrating. I think cutting caffeine out of my system will certainly help.

I’ve got a “sea hare” to mow all the green algae, but I have to watch to be sure it doesn’t die — because it’ll turn the water toxic.
