Todd’s idea. They made rum punch and got a crate of coconuts to use as cups. The coconuts had a slogan printed on them: “Bore hole, drink juice; crack nut, eat meat.”
The practical challenge: nobody knew how much rum punch a coconut would hold, or how many they’d had. “How much rum punch does a coconut hold? Who knows? How many have I had? Fuck if I know!” This was not considered a problem.
Tammy Loos, Ray Tecotzky, and Liz Leonard showed up. The party was at the Woodbury house in Altadena.
There are photos of everyone on the roof rack of the 109 Station Wagon — Minsoo, Gary, Chris, Ault, Ken, Mike — looking at something. This was after one of the Gorilla Ball parties. Apparently on the run where they gave Kip wrong directions and ditched him.
