Went to Great Divide Brewing on the Colorado trip with Dylan. I had several of their beers. Dylan had something age-appropriate and less interesting.

My notes from the time say “outstanding,” which is the highest mark I give a brewery without going into specifics. Great Divide has been producing good beer since 1994 — Titan IPA, Yeti Imperial Stout, Hercules Double IPA, a range of seasonal and specialty beers. They’re one of the breweries that made Denver a destination for people who care about beer.

I came back with a Yeti Stout and the intention of returning.

Dylan did not share my enthusiasm for the tasting notes. He was nine and had already declared the alpine slide to be the highlight of the trip, a judgment I did not dispute.
