As a fan of Hunter Thompson visiting the area, I had to make the pilgrimage to this minor shrine just down the road from Owl Farm. The walls are decked with Gonzo paraphernalia, lots of history here as well as photo ops. Food was great, I had the chimi steak and my son ate my guac and chips — and then the server brought us a dessert on the house! Spicy margarita was good too, though I should have chased it with grapefruit, crab Rangoon, cocaine and Chivas. Fun to visit. Would be back if I’m in town.
