Logos Books & Records, Santa Cruz. Rated ★★★★★
I had never been here before, but I read that they were going out of business, and I was visiting Santa Cruz, so I made it a point to stop. My “to read” book shelf is overflowing. I don’t need more books. But I bought a few here; the inspiration factor was significant. The books that leapt into my hands were “Elegant Failure: A Guide to Zen Koans”, and “The Place of Dead Roads”, by Burroughs. Seems like it was a great place. We didn’t even get downstairs, or I would have bought more! The record selection seemed properly eclectic, as well.
