Meow Wolf, Denver. Rated ★★★★★
The MeowWolf in Las Vegas has been on my list for a while, but I ended up here first on a trip to Denver. This interactive art experience is very well done, with a wide variety of art that remains on-theme. Imagine a large number of science fiction and fantasy locations crashing together in some inexplicable cross wormhole. Or something. Maybe something completely different? Pictures don’t really do it justice. I noticed sights and sounds and temperature and airflow being used. There’s many floors to walk around and appreciate. Two hours wore me out. There’s also a game based on scanning cards into kiosks which I played but didn’t finish. Got a very cool shirt at the gift shop. I bought gift tickets for my niece but I didn’t love the third party site that sold them and surcharged me. Let me buy guest tickets directly!
