Outback, Claremont Mesa.
Spent the evening with Figment at the monster truck races, which was surprisingly entertaining, especially the parts where the $250,000-plus, goofy-looking machines flew dozens of feet through the air, occasionally crashing down with seemingly no damage. It appears that they plan to nearly destroy every one of them by the end of the night; makes me wonder how they do their budgeting, since the whole take of the stadium doesn’t seem to add up.
12 oz of prime rib and two “skinny” margaritas later: still weird that Becke will be working Sundays and off Thursday through Saturday.
I’m still car shopping. I like the Volvo — both the XC90 and the XC60, for different reasons and purposes. I like the $3,500 Toyota Land Cruiser with 375K miles that Craig was selling too.
I’ve decided to start referring to it as “buying and selling to Craig.” More efficient.
