Rick Shull was a Webb classmate. His wedding was in Lee Vining — Eastern Sierra, Mono Lake country — and Kip and I both went. There are photos of us at the event: both in hats and sunglasses, both arms crossed. We look like we’re guarding something.
Rick’s father Blaine was a senior Hughes executive. Rick now lives near Lee Vining with a turquoise mine, which is a perfectly reasonable life outcome for a Webb '84 graduate.
The reception had a western wear theme.
