Walking around Ashland, we stopped in to say hi, and ended up at a community-building art experience. Met several people there who were welcoming and awesome, friendly to my kid, got to know some other builder/maker folks, and got coffee and a snack. I’m involved in an artist colab in San Diego — this was more casual — no CNC machines or plasma cutters or routers, more work tables and stage and coffee bar. If I lived there (like my friend does) this would be a great place for get-togethers or drop-ins!
