After hearing about it from friends who are big fans, I had breakfast here yesterday. The corned beef hash was hearty, the tortillas were fresh, the coffee was great.
The staff were what made the extra star.
As the waitress brought my dish, I realized I had forgotten my wallet. Major d’oh. She was nice about it — said I could come back later, even teased me, which I deserved.
Fortunately I remembered I had some spare cash in the car, so I didn’t have to make the walk of shame back later. I don’t suggest you try this, but there’s an extra extra star for coping with my stupidity.
