Telenomics, Temecula.
I should really be working, but somehow I’m finding it extremely difficult to motivate myself, so instead I’m dicking around with all sorts of little projects (and now, goofing off by writing a letter). At least I’m not playing a video game.
I’m surrounded by keyboards and screens — five of each, to be specific. HP200LX, telephone, Newton, HP800CT, and Pavilion. Kinda crazy, neh?
The more I think about it the more I like this little Mac, even with the new one that came out. I really could divide my work up into Mac and Windows without being too obvious: Access development and Visio diagrams on Windows; all the rest on the Mac.
It’s been a while since I’ve worked on my journal from this Mac, or even used the actual keyboard and screen. In the amount of time it took to come up I could have been up and writing on the Newton; but aside from that and the battery life this is really a nicer and more practical machine, besides which I can do EVERYTHING I need on it. And play MP3s besides.
Yes, my entire life is work and computers, with some computers for fun. And when I take off from work I go computer shopping. I’m a freaking nerd and a half.
