Daphne’s, Carlsbad.
Got my new MacBook Air today, but I’m not using it yet — didn’t feel like bringing it in here to the food place while I wait. In fact I only got around to opening it before lunch, too busy in meetings and getting actual work done.
The waitress thought it was cool.
Two days later, at Quest Diagnostics:
First time using the Air away from work, and on my lap. Only took two tries for the blood draw this time, but there was a lot of puzzlement and some finger-poking. At least the vampires are friendly.
With only a few hours of use, the awesome thing about this computer seems to be that it’s just the right size — big enough to type on and use the screen, but otherwise as small as is physically possible. I spent a bundle on this toy, and I’m glad it’s so nice.
