The Trader Vic classic — the cornerstone tiki cocktail. Fred’s build leans on a split of Jamaican and dark rum with orgeat (or falernum) and orange curaçao.
Ingredients
- 1 lime
- ¼ oz simple syrup
- ¼ oz orgeat or falernum
- ½ oz orange curaçao
- 1 oz Jamaican rum
- 1 oz dark rum
Instructions
- Juice the lime into a shaker.
- Add the simple syrup, orgeat (or falernum), orange curaçao, Jamaican rum, and dark rum.
- Shake well with crushed ice.
- Pour unstrained into a double old-fashioned glass.
