This was a long day, and I suspect tomorrow will be even longer. My first clue is that I’m supposed to be there at 0500 — or earlier — to see if Global Crossing could deal with our data in their format for the switchover from MCI. That we’re trying to sneak away with as many customers as we can get away with before MCI shuts us down.
And I wonder what sort of lawsuits or liens MCI will be filing against us.
The day after: indeed it was a long day — about 13 hours at work. Far as I know, we got the MCI stuff all sent to GX. What a crock of shit. So I’m tired but not tired enough to go to bed yet; I’m baking a pie (from a box, of course!) while I install the OSX development software.
It will be interesting if there’s any thanks for this, from Art or from Dick (yeah, right) or whoever.
June 4-5, 2001. Cybertel owed MCI Worldcom $8 million in unpaid traffic commitments.
